Principal of Alternative Programs

Mr. Goodwin holds a Bachelor of Behavioral Science from Ashford University and a Master of Education degree from William Carey University. He is also a graduate of the University of Mississippi’s Principal Corps, where he earned an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. A retiree of the United States Air Force (USAF), Mr. Goodwin developed a passion for education and teaching while serving as an instructor at the Noncommissioned Officer Academy.

As an administrator in the Gulfport School District (GSD), Mr. Goodwin embraces the opportunity to work with GSD's educational team, committed to the principle of "Every Decision. What is Best for Children? Every Time."
